Last Thursday when Tesla unveiled its latest EV, the company touted that the glass of the Cybertruck’s window was unbreakable. However, when its chief designer smashed them to prove the point, he proved the opposite. After that, the company’s share price fell by 6 percent, which made the personal net worth of Elon Musk go down by $768 million within a day, the Guardians cited Forbes' report.

When talking about the Cybertruck, Musk said that the car was literally bulletproof to 9mm handguns. He made the statement just moments before Franz von Holzhausen, Tesla’s design chief, took the stage, threw a steel ball onto two windows of the car, breaking both of them.
Trying to be hilarious with the incident, Musk said:
Previously, the tech mogul described the Cybertruck as a truly futuristic cyberpunk pickup truck. However, it appears that people are not giving its design kind reactions, many of them laugh at the car’s almost cartoonish design and video game-like features.

Tesla Cybetruck is an electric vehicle running on batteries developed by Tesla. The company has announced three models featuring an estimated range between 400 and 800 kilometers. The car is estimated to go from 0 km/h to 96 km/h within 6. To 2.9 seconds, which depends on the particular model.
The idea behind the Cybertruck is providing a sustainable energy replacement for about 6,500 trucks running on fossil fuels that are sold each day in the United States. The base price of this vehicle will be $39,900 (roughly Rs 28.5 lakh) for the rear-wheel model, while that for the all-wheel models start at $49,900 (roughly Rs 35.6 lakh).

And about Elon Musk, this is not the first time he has caused his company share price for his theatrics. Last year, the firm’s share price also plummeted by 6 percent when Musk smoked marijuana during a live web show. Also last year, Musk underwent a series of scandals relating to his statements on Twitter, leading the company’s board to require him to get approval for every Tesla-related thing he wanted to say on social media and in public.
