China To Call Upon India To Make 'Independent Judgement' On Huawei

Apart from the US, there's a number of countries expressing concerns over security issues related to Huawei, and India may not an exception.

Amid the escalation of the trade war between the US and China, India is considered as one of the most important sides as the country is obviously a populous market with more than one billion consumers. After the Chinese behemoth, Huawei got a series of bans from the US government, China has already called India for making an “independent judgment” in the Huawei case, with the scare of not having an “unbiased and non-discriminatory” business environment.

The Chinese giant got a series of bans from the US government.

There’re a lot of concerns over security issues related to Huawei. According to Ravi S. Prasad – the Telecom Minister of India, the country is wary of the participation of Huawei in India’s 5G trials. Keep in mind that any Chinese company has to comply with a security law from the Chinese government, which demands them to “provide the necessary support, assistance, and cooperation” for intelligence purposes. In a statement, he said:

Huawei is known for supplying the largest number of equipment for 5G technology.

On the other side, China has expressed its opinion towards reports that said any Indian companies which supply American equipment and related products to Huawei will have to receive punitive actions from the US.

Up to now, Huawei is the world's leader in supplying telecom equipment for global markets - especially for those countries' upcoming 5G infrastructures.
