It looks like Apple has filed an application for its next model of the MacBook Pro to the US Federal Communications Commission. On Tuesday, 9to5Mac reported that the document indicated a laptop model measuring 13 inches.
Last month, at the 2019 Worldwide Developers Conference, the Cupertino-based company revealed a slight update for its MacBook Pro lineup. Now, the tech giant will give its 13-inch and 15-inch models faster Intel Core chips of the eighth and ninth generation. In addition to this announcement, a redesigned keyboard was announced by the company, which will come to the MacBook Pro.
In the ID database of the FCC, there is now an Apple application for laptop computer A2159 which the tech giant filed on July 1. The application says:
While the company did not respond immediately to a comment request, the application it just filed to the FCC mirrors one of seven MacBook applications reported to be registered in the Eurasian Economic Commission database in June. Apple file the models on June 14, and the list included A2251, A2182, A2159, A2158, A2147, and A2141, according to MacRumors report at the time.
MacRumors said that a company needs EEC filings to be able to sell encrypted devices in Russia as well as other countries. The publication used to successfully foretell the announcement of several Apple products including iPads, iPhones, Apple Watches, iPad Pros, AirPods, and Macs.
