Amazon Is Delivering More Than 1 Crore Items Per Day In The US Market

Amazon, a giant in the e-commerce industry, has recently stated more than 10,000,00 products are delivered per day in a special delivery program for its Prime members. This program has been applied in 44 metropolitan areas all across the US.

On June 03, Amazon posted on its blog:

Additionally, this giant has just introduced the Prime Now services that will deliver the goods to its consumers within hours.

In April, Amazon’s CFO Brian Olsavsky stated that this company is going to invest about 800 million dollars and to focus on their 1-day delivery capacity this year.

Nevertheless, the President of Retail, Wholesale, and Department Store Union at Amazon Stuart Appelbaum was afraid that too short delivery time might cause danger to its employees.

Although Amazon’s employees were complaining about the work pressure caused by the delivery program, the company decided to start this 1-day feature in silence at the beginning of May 2019, which is cut down from its original 2-day delivery feature.
