Alexa supports human everywhere, from home to office and now many people are expecting Alexa to appear in their cars. Recently, Amazon announced to TechCrunch that there are currently more than 1 million registered to preorder Echo Auto.
The product for cars of the Amazon takes the form of a credit card and is placed above the dashboard of the vehicle. From here, you can link to it via the 3.5mm headphones jack or connect to Bluetooth to bring your personal voice assistant – Alexa with you on the way.
Echo Auto is pretty small and easy to connect to smartphones
Amazon has previously said it has sold 100M devices that integrate Alexa to the market, so the number 1 million people ordering Echo Auto doesn't seem too much compared to the number above. But this is an aftermarket product for those who own cars. And more importantly, Amazon has let only that number of people order the product.
Since its launch earlier this year, Echo Auto has been available for preorder only and for the invited only. So there may be even more people looking forward and welcome this product to equip their cars.
Many people expect the appearance of Alexa in their cars
Alexa can also be equipped with third-party utilities to provide users with optimal support while in the car, the Viva adapter from Anker for example. Directly integrated third parties include Audi, Toyota, Ford, and BMW, and this is just a small part of the potential car market. In fact, a portion of those organizations with formal Amazon voice assistant incorporations have conveyed bulky dispatch without sufficient Alexa abilities.
This isn't the first product that Amazon officially launched for people to equip their cars. Amazon also introduced a new feature with its partnership - Volvo and General Motors last year, allowing delivery men to open the trunk of the customer to deliver the package. This shows that Amazon's development of services and features for cars will continue to grow in the future.
