Tell Spotify Not to Start Automatically
This option can be found in the Spotify app.
Step 1: Open Spotify by either double-clicking on the app icon on the system tray or select it from the Start menu.
Step 2: Select Menu at the top-left corner and then choose Edit and Preference.
Step 3: When you are on the Settings page, scroll all the way down to the bottom, and select the ‘Show Advanced Settings.’
Step 4: Now find the ‘Startup and Window Behavior.’
Step 5: You now see an option that reads ‘Open Spotify automatically after you log into the computer,’ select ‘No’ from the dropdown box.
Disable Spotify’s Startup Task via the Task Manager

Step 1: Open Task Manager by either using the Ctrl+Shift+Esc combination or right-clicking on the Windows taskbar and choose ‘Task Manager.’

While you are in the ‘Startup’ tab, you can take this chance to prevent any program from opening in the same way. However, please note that the programs you disabled won’t be able to do any background tasks once you banish them from ‘Startup.’

Step 1: Open Spotify on your phone.
