YouTube’s movies and original shows will be available for everyone without a YouTube Premium membership to watch starting on 24 September

YouTube’s movies and original shows will be available for everyone without a premium membership to watch starting on 24 September.

Earlier this year, YouTube announced that it would let users watch some of its original programs for free with ad support. However, not all episodes of a program will be free, and some of them are free of charge for a limited time only.

If you want to know which show is available without a premium membership, go to YouTube Originals to check this information. The ones that are not free will have a tag that reads Premium underneath. Some of the free offers, for now, are Liza on Demand, Impulse, Cobra Kai, Groom, and Mind Field.

The list of free shows are still quite short at the moment and the popular ones like Scare PewDiePie, Single by 30, Consequences, and BTS: Burn The Stage are still for premium users only. It is possible that after the free viewing time starts, YouTube would add more content to the list.

The free offer will be in nations where YouTube Premium has already been launched. In India, this subscription was released earlier this year at the price of Rs 129 a month. YouTube Premium comes with video and playlist downloads, background play, ad-free viewing, all access to YouTube Originals, and a free subscription to YouTube Music.
