Tesla Is Reportedly Being Investigated Relating To Model 3 Production

Providing the bad statistics of Model 3 production will probably make Tesla and Musk have the Justice Department and FBI investigating.

2018 must be a difficult year of Tesla and Elon Musk. In September, the electric car company faced with the scandal regarding the Musk’s misleading tweets. The bad luck still followed Tesla when it turns to the Justice Department having its eye on Model 3 production.

In 2017, Tesla claimed that it could produce up to 5,000 Model 3 per week; however, the real number wasn’t as expected. According to the Justice Department, Tesla only reached the desired level of production at the end of June 2018.

WSJ reported Tesla ex-workers have been asked to testify if necessary. Not only that, but some of them were also received subpoenas and interviewed. This move is to evaluate Musk’s cognition of Model 3 production. Did Tesla and Musk deliberately make false predictions about the company’s production capacity to attract the investors?

According to the Tesla spokesman, the truth is that the Department of Justice required Tesla to provide documents about its public guidance for the Model 3 ramp and Tesla have never received any subpoena or a request for testimony or the like.

The investigation has clearly raised doubts over the Tesla’s real financial situation. The SEC investigation has just defused as well as Musk has resigned as Tesla chairman. What is going on with Tesla? Whether Musk will have the special move in a few months or not?
