Elon Musk is accelerating his rocket-building business and on Sunday, he called for an early morning meeting, at 1 A.M, to make some big announcements.
Musk worried that the window of chances we have to colonize Mars is closing fast, so we have to act quickly. After the meeting, SpaceX’s workforce was added 250 employees more, doubling its initial number.

Earlier this week, a Starship prototype exploded as a result of weak welds. It appears that Musk knew there was something wrong with it so when it failed, he said that the prototype was not designed to fly anyway.
This is not a piece of good news as it is announced that SpaceX’s factories are designed to build a new Starship spacecraft every 72 hours. Elon Musk said that he thought we needed around 1,000 ships, with each has much more payload than a Saturn V, and of course, they must be reusable.
So far, we have had no reusable rockets. The Space Shuttle can be used over and over again but it is a different thing. The shuttle takes off vertically but it leaves behind lots of fuel tanks and disposable rocket boosters.
The Saturn V, the rocket that can bring people to the Moon, is by far the most powerful we have. There are spacecraft that can carry more than the payload of the Saturn V but they chiefly go to low Earth orbit since countries stop sending astronauts to the Moon.

What Musk is asking for is huge, much like his other claims before. Many might think he is unrealistic but who knows, we need a pioneer anyway and that might be Elon Musk.
