Samsung About To Release Its Own Cloud Gaming Service To More Devices

The cloud gaming service developed by Samsung has been in beta for a while, and the Korean tech giant now decides to roll it out to more Samsung devices. In a nutshell, the service will give users the ability to enjoy PC games on Samsung-branded handheld devices with an exclusive experience.
Sharing the same concept with other cloud gaming services, this so-called “novel concept” actually help people play PC games on their smartphones. Take Nvidia’s GeForce Now and Valve’s Steam Link as some notable examples, those platforms also offer handheld devices a new way to get a bunch of games along the way.
The news site XDA-Developers revealed that Samsung Galaxy S10 5G, Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10+, Galaxy S10, and Galaxy Note 10 are the few Samsung smartphones that get the very early beta version of PlayGalaxy Link. As from now, the company will broaden the list of compatible devices as early as next month, including Galaxy A90, Not 9, S9+, S9, and Galaxy Fold.
Samsung has teamed up with a company called Parsec to make its very own cloud gaming product, aiming to exclusively serve Samsung devices. After logging in the service on both a mobile and a PC, users can start streaming the games as long as they have a 4G/5G connectivity or Wi-Fi.
Cloud gaming began its dawn since the launch of Google Stadia in early November. A lot of gamers are paying attention to every similar newcomer, and most of them are focusing on how much their bandwidth and data caps will be.
