New Accessories From Samsung: 25W Power Banks And 45W Car Charger

Besides the launch of a flip phone and three new flagship smartphones – Samsung Z Flip and Samsung Galaxy S20 models, Samsung recently announced a set of power banks for the smartphone as well as a new car charger.

To remind, Samsung hadn’t disclosed any information about these three new charging cases at the “Unpacked” event, which had taken place for quite a while. According to the company, these products are designed to support the latest newcomers in its smartphone lineup, including the Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy S20 flagships. The global website of Samsung has already updated these new accessories but Samsung India has yet to list them in the e-store (understandably). No need to say, we all expect them to arrive soon.

Regarding the detailed features of the power banks, both the two support 10,000 mAh capacities, but they’re actually not the same. Here’s how they’re different from the other: one doesn’t come with wireless charging. The second one meanwhile houses a Qi charging pad, so people can take advantage of wireless charging. Users can enable the power bank by pressing a physical button and its battery status will be signalized via five LED lights. The price for each type of this power bank is $80 (appx. 5,700).

Samsung’s new car charger offers 45W of power and can be connected via both USB Type-C and USB-A ports. While the USB-A port is limited to 15W charging, the USB Type-C connectivity allows users to get 45W charging.
