The price of the new OnePlus's smart TV may make their fans less excited. The new product is priced at Rs 69,900, which is not too expensive for a 4K TV but also not cheaper for those who can afford it. OnePlus is still preparing a plan to transfer its Q1 series production line to India, starting from early 2020.

CEO Pete Lau stated that by the end of 2019 or until early 2020, the company will commence new manufacture in India, instead of relying on heavy importations from China like their newly released smart TVs. As confirmed, OnePlus now is not supporting cheaper smart TV production plans. The company instead still puts much concentration on developing its major business segment in its investment portfolio, which is premium products. Such news can be beneficial for OnePlus’s lower-class rivals such as Motorola and Xiaomi, which are in intense competition in the lower-budget market of smart TVs.
For the new footsteps in TV productions, TV Q1 and Q1 Pro are the new models to consider. As a comparison, while the OnePlus Q1 is more standardized with a built-in setup of 4 normal speakers, hence, you will obtain a better audio version with just an additional Rs 30,000. The “Pro” one, on the other hand, highlights with another soundbar which is capable to slide down whenever you turn on the TV.

As for the display, both TVs have a stunning QLED panel with a 55-inch dimension, along with a colorful gamut coverage of 120% NTSC. The two models also assist two iconic cinema effects, Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision, as well as a support of 50W output for the two models.
As can be seen, OnePlus TV designs tend to reach for simplicity but elegance. Small bezels and circular stand are coming in handy whenever you wish to table mount two TVs. Another special feature of the remote may surprise you. It is aluminum made with a stunning design and integrated with a Type-C USB portal underneath the bottom edge.
