Hero MotoCorp, the leading maker of two-wheelers recently made a donation of 60 first-responder mobile ambulances states across the country.

These mobile ambulances will be of tremendous help with transferring patients from remote areas to the nearest hospital, according to Hero MotoCorp in a statement.

The ambulances come equipped with a sleeping arrangement with needed medical equipment including an oxygen cylinder, siren, a first-aid kit, and fire extinguisher.

That is not everything Hero Group has done in its pandemic relief effort. The Haryana-based BML Munjal University, run by the company itself, has opened its 2,000-bed hostel to accommodate patients. The facility can also be the isolation ward.

For stranded laborers, workers live on daily wage, and homeless individuals, Hero MotoCorp said it was offering 15,000 meals at multiple areas in Andhra Pradesh, Delhi-NCR, Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Haryana each day.

When India is under the destructive effect of COVID-19 pandemic, companies in the automobile field are lending a hand to help with easing what the disease has done to the country.

Hyundai, Maruti, and Mahindra are manufacturing budget-friendly ventilators. Maruti, India's largest carmaker, has promised 10,000 ventilators per month. MG Motor launched an Affordable Ventilator Challenge as part of the company’s Grant initiative and Developer Program.

That is not all, carmakers have donated a large sum of money to PM-CARES Fund and relief funds of several state governments.
