The Nubia Red Magic 3 is listed on Geekbench under the model number of Nubia NX629J, and the listing confirms that the gaming-centric phone will pack the latest Snapdragon 855 chipset along with 8GB of RAM. The phone achieved scores of 3,513 points in single core test and 11,309 points in the multi-core test. Its benchmark scores are actually lower than its rival Black Shark 2 from Xiaomi with the same chipset and higher amount of RAM. The Xiaomi gaming phone achieved 3,516 points in the single-core test and 11,413 points in the multi-core test. To improve its thermal management, ZTE equips it with a hybrid cooling system.

In addition, a model of the Nubia Red Magic 3 with a whopping 12GB of RAM also surfaced on a Chinese benchmarking platform called Master Lu with a high score of 472,947 points which is slightly higher than the score of the model with 8GB of RAM. The 8GB RAM model achieved a score of 470,574 points in the same test.

The Chinese company has not revealed many details relating to the upcoming phone’s specifications. However, we have known that it will likely pack an active cooling system and a display with a 90Hz refresh rate. In addition, the phone was also seen in an event in China as well.
