Macotakara, a Japanese website, reported that the Cupertino-based company will keep using the Lightning port connector on the iPhone 11 series. In addition, the company is likely to put in the box a slow 5W charger as well as a USB-A Lightning cable, according to Macotakara. This information is completely contrary to a previous rumor that said Apple would replace its proprietary connector with the USB-C port.

If it’s true that Apple intends to offer a slow charger, there’s no telling how users will react. Back when the iPhone maker shifted to the glass back and provided support for the wireless charging feature, it made all technological and hardware changes to enable fast charging.

But it didn’t include a fats charger in its retail box. For now, we cannot say for sure if this decision will help Apple pass on the expense benefits to its users, we have to wait until the iPhone 11 goes official to have the answer.

Anyway, up to now, we have learned a few things about the phones Apple will release in 2019. To begin with, the company is set to release three new iPhones. The triplet will include one that takes after the more budget iPhone XR featuring an LCD screen, dual rear cameras, and upgraded hardware. The others would be successors to the iPhone XS Max and iPhone XS, with one of them sporting three cameras on the back. It is likely that Apple will announce the 11 series in September 2019, but that hasn’t been settled yet and nothing else is known at present.
