For many Android fans, the new Pixel 3 and 3 XL of Google has been pretty disappointing so far. These two new smartphones had been hyped way head of their launch, and they actually delivered most of what people had hoped for.
They are fast and also powerful with many new features in the Android 9 Pie, latest Android version. In addition to that, there are also several impressive new designs of both phones. However, they have some annoying bugs that disappoint many Pixel 3 and 3 XL’s users.
Users of Pixel 3 and 3 XL have been getting several serious issues along with minor ones. Of course, not just serious issues, experiencing multiple minor bugs can still make the experience worse for users. For example, there may be a second notch appearing randomly on the display and users have to reboot their phone to remove it.
Besides that, there are also issues in the quality of recorded audios and videos or buzzing as well as speaker distortion and many more. Google has already been aware of several issues, and now they are finally working to fix one of the most serious issues in their phones.
You may remember the problems in RAM management of iPhone in the iOS 11. The problems were so serious that the 2017 iPhone series with A11 chipset, which is even more powerful than many 2018 Android phones, had lost speed tests to lesser phones. And now users of Pixel 3 and 3 XL are also experiencing a similar issues.
The RAM management issues are really bad that taking a photo using camera app can crash other apps. And that is what Pixel 3 users have to go through right now. It is obviously annoying, but at least there are some good news now.
Google confirmed in an email sent to 9to5Google - a Google news blog that they are fixing the issue. The Google’s spokesperson specifically said that the company is fixing to “keep background apps from being prematurely closed.”
Obviously there are still many more issues to fix but fixing this one will definitely ease the bad experience of the users. Everyone would be really annoying if their apps keeping crashing just because of running a simple task.
As for users of Pixel 3 and 3 XL, the exact time the fix are not confirmed yet but Google said that it should be rolled out in the upcoming weeks.
