Samsung Is Reportedly Working On A 600MP Phone Camera

If you think 50MP or 100MP is a big number, wait until you know about the 600MP camera Samsung is developing

Samsung is planning to change everything we have known about phone cameras. If you think 50MP or 100MP is a big number, wait until you know about the 600MP camera the South Korean tech giant is working on.

Recently, a credible leaker - Ice Universe made public a photo on Twitter of a slide from what appears to be an internal presentation of Samsung about the upcoming camera.

The photo reveals that the 600MP camera will be able to zoom in on 4K and even 8K footage without degradation of image quality and loss of resolution.

Having a 600MP snapper sounds nice but on the flip side, such a camera module will definitely have an impact on the size and thickness of the phone. Samsung has thought about that obviously and is finding a way to shrink the size of such a snapper.

Samsung has lots of experience doing this as it successfully shrunk a 108MP camera that is used on phones now. However, it’s a big leap from 108Mp all the way up to 600MP so it may take the tech giant a while before it can bring such a phone with that camera to the market.

The question now is will you ever need a 600MP camera?
