Elon Musk Said He Would Start Implanting Chips Into Human Brains Later This Year

This update was revealed when Elon Musk answered a request made by a user to participate in the human trials of Neuralink

Elon Musk – the founder of Tesla and SpaceX, said that his brain-computer project would begin human trials later this year.

Neuralink was founded by Musk in 2016 and its goal is to create a computer interface that can link to the brain to work as a long-term solution for spinal cord injuries, Alzheimer, dementia, and other neurological conditions.

This update was revealed when Elon Musk answered a request made by a user to participate in the human trials of Neuralink.

On January 31, Musk told Clubhouse users that the startup recently made use of nanotechnology to allow a monkey to play video games with its mind by implanting a chip into its brain.
