Once you've passed these assessments, you can have more chances to get your desired job.

For those looking for a professional career, LinkedIn is not only a social media site but also a networking place for your future of work. In short, the platform helps people reach out to prestige recruiters and reputed professionals in his/her work domain, as well as becoming a one-stop solution for all levels of professional job problems. As of now, the company has already added a new feature called “LinkedIn Skill Assessments” to make things even better. It’s expected to make things easier when validating skills related to work you have by quick and short questions with multiple choices.

According to the company, every skill assessment has been built up thanks to the partnership between them and experts. For example, if your skills are up to par with these assessments (you pass around 70% or more), there are more opportunities for job-finders to discover. Additionally, a study conducted by LinkedIn revealed that candidates completing their Skill Assessments are more likely to be hired. For those who have already completed the assessment, they will get a badge of “verified skill” on their profile, so recruiters on LinkedIn can notice them easily with the display of “certifications”.

In case you want to test the assessment, all you need to do is to find the skills section featured on your profile and do any one of those available skill assessments that you find it interesting. Once you’ve done the test, all the results will be private so you can take time to do it again if you haven’t passed the test. However, whether you get across the test or not, LinkedIn will still show you a detailed evaluation of the test and recommend suitable “LinkedIn Learning Courses”. These courses are free in a limited time period as a promotion then you need to pay if it’s expired.

Those said features have proven a rising demand for the current labor market when it comes to skill assessments. And as expected, LinkedIn and employees will share a mutual attitude in the midst of the fourth industrial revolution.
