Google Released A New Tool Which Assists Organizations In Monitoring Their Employees

Google made an announcement on Wednesday about their new tool called Work Insights that give companies' administrator the abilities to understand and monitoring control on how the G Suite productivity tools are utilized in their companies.

This so-called Work Insights tool will come with adoption charts. They will help admin to track the progress of deploying G-suite, analyze the trends, and understand which apps are mostly used by teams as well as identify the apps that may require more training.

This Work Insights tool can quickly give administrators insights about deploying the progress of G-suite in an organization at the team level (a team consists of 10 or more people). By that way, administrators can know the adoption patterns for the G-Suite tools.

Google specifically built this tool to assist organizations in understanding and measuring how much the transformation of the internal digital impact them and also the impact of transitioning from legacy tools to G-Suite tools.

Administrators can also use this tool to see which teams are collaborating within your company such as through overlapping usage of documents or holding meetings through Hangouts chat and video tools of Google.

Google also made an announcement about the Investigation tool in the G-Suite Security Centre to assist companies in simplifying how they manage their security.

This Investigation tool's user interface is simple which make it easier for administrators to quickly identify threats without worrying about putting a lot of time analyzing logs that may need complicated scripting.

This tool is available for customers using G Suite Enterprise and the Work Insights tool is only available in the beta version at the moment.
