Mozilla has announced to expand its VR web browser version, Firefox Reality, to Oculus Quest - the wireless headset from Facebook. This expansion is expected to make the VR web browsing experience on Oculus Quest even more enjoyable as users are able to watch videos as well as surf the web in virtual reality via a browser with a big focus on privacy (it has default-enabled Enhanced Tracking Protection).
Additionally, Firefox Reality also puts VR-centric activities in front and center of the browser. Although Firefox Reality’s VR-friendly features such as voice search are nothing new if you have used it on other platforms, it is still a good alternative if you are not content with the Quest’s built-in browser.

Janice Von Itter, a staff program manager working at Mozilla, wrote:
She added:
Consumers can now download Firefox Reality for free in the Oculus Quest store. At the moment, the web browser supports 10 different languages, including Korean, Japanese, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese. According to Mozilla, they are working on the addition of other languages.
This is not necessarily a huge update, especially when some users are already satisfied with the usual Quest browsing. Nevertheless, for VR browsing in general and Quest owners in specific, it is still a great deal. A browser alternative has finally arrived on the high profile headset option in the world of VR and the wire-free headset will let you catch up with the news and watch videos without any annoyance from the wires.
