Samsung Rumored To Offer Galaxy Buds Beyond With Galaxy S21-Series

For the past few years, Samsung has been giving true wireless Galaxy Buds to customers who pre-order its flagship devices. And not long ago, TopDaily reported that, for its Galaxy S21 series, instead of packing AKG headphones in the retail box, Samsung will add Galaxy Buds Beyond, the successor of the Galaxy Buds Plus.

If the rumor is true, this will be a great marketing move that can attract more customers. This decision will likely help increase Samsung’s share in the wireless earphones market significantly. At the moment, Apple is dominating this market with its AirPods products. In addition, Samsung is also considering removing the wired headset inside the product’s box and including a coupon for consumers.

The Galaxy Buds Beyond is expected to have significant upgrades over its predecessor, like higher IP standards, better sound quality, and improved battery life.

It still remains unclear as to how much the Galaxy Buds Beyond will cost when it hits the shelves. However, offering it for free to Galaxy S21 buyers is clearly an appealing deal.

Samsung has planned this early, it seems, as the phrase “Galaxy Buds Beyond” appears in the US trademark application. So far, there is no information in the application explaining what the phrase stands for.

Since the launch of the Samsung Gear IconX in 2018, each year, Samsung has released at least 1 pair of wireless headsets. This year, Samsung introduced the Galaxy Buds+ along with the release of the Galaxy S20 and the Galaxy Galaxy Buds Live together with the Note 20.

The Galaxy Buds Beyond could be the successor to the Galaxy Buds+. It will be for those who prefer a more traditional design for their wireless earbuds. According to sources, Samsung will release the new wireless earphones in early January 2021.
