Xiaomi Redmi 7 Pro Spotted on TENAA: Water-Drop Notch, 5.84-Inch Display

Not long ago, three Xiaomi devices in the Redmi 7-series were alleged reportedly certified by China’s 3C, and now it appears that the upcoming Redmi 7 Pro also passed by TENAA, revealing details of its design and specifications. The handset is expected to feature a water-drop notch display, a dual rear camera system and also a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Its revealed specifications include 2,900 mAh battery and a 5.84-inch screen. As previously leaked, all of the three devices in the Redmi 7 series most likely support 4G LTE and 10W charge.

The Xiaomi device was listed on TENAA with the model number M1901F9T and the listing states that this handset will feature a glossy black variant and a water-drop notch, similar to other Oppo and Vivo mid-range handsets released recently. The photos posted on TENAA show that the device will feature a vertical-dual camera system on the rear and also a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The two rear cameras protrude fairly out of the shell and they are protected by a silver ring. The power and volume buttons are located on the device’s right edge.

Some of its specifications are also leaked, including a 5.84-inch screen, dimensions of 147.76x71.89x7.8mm, and a 2,900 mAh battery. With the device featuring a similar display as on the Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro, a 5.84-inch display, it’s speculated to be its successor which should be named Redmi 7 Pro. Fonearena was the one spotted the TENAA listings.

Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro

The 3C listings last week showed three Xiaomi devices with model numbers of M1901F7C, M1901F7E, and M1901F7T. These devices are most likely in the next Redmi 7-series, which are called Redmi 7, Redmi 7A and Redmi 7 Pro -- the successors to the Xiaomi Redmi 6 series.

It’s also worth noting that all of the devices in the Redmi 6 series released earlier in the year had the model numbers with M18 prefix. The new devices spotted on 3C, and TENAA all had M19 prefix, adding more evidence proving that these devices are in the upcoming Redmi 7-series. It is expected that Xiaomi will introduce these handsets in the early of 2019.
