Xiaomi Launched Poco F1 Armoured Edition With 6GB RAM, 128GB Storage In India

Xiaomi's sub-brand, Poco, just launched a new variant of the Poco F1 Armoured Edition which has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage starting from 26 December.

Xiaomi’s sub-brand, Poco, has just launched an Armoured Edition of the Pocophone F1 that has 6GB RAM/128GB storage. This new model will be up for sale from 26 December in the Indian market. Xiaomi already released an Armoured Edition variant (8GB of RAM/256GB storage) along with regular options on August this year. The Armoured Edition variant of the Poco F1 features a real Kevlar back panel which is different from the simple and matte-finish plastic back on the regular models.
This time, the Armoured Edition which is about to launch will come packed with 6GB of RAM/128GB storage. The option comes days after Poco announcing that they would drop the price of its Poco F1 in the Indian market. The initial price of the Poco F1 was Rs 20,999, and now it got slashed to Rs. 19,999 early this month.
Poco F1 Armoured Edition: Specifications
The Poco F1 launched with support for Dual-SIM slots and Android 8.1 Oreo-based MIUI 9.6. However, the phone has received an update to MIUI 10 which is based on Android 9 Pie. The Poco handset comes packed with a 6.18-inch Full-HD+ display with a 2,246 x 1,080 pixels resolution and 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass 3. There is a Snapdragon 845 process under the hood, coupled with 6GB of RAM for the latest Armoured Edition.

There is a dual camera system on the rear, comprising of a 12MP Sony IMX363 main sensor with dual-pixel autofocus, a 1.4µm pixel size, and a 5MP sensor. The device also has a 20MP selfie camera with AI Beauty Features and HDR. It also comes with an Infrared Light that can work with a Facial recognition feature.
In terms of memory, the upcoming Armoured Edition has 128GB storage, and it’s expandable up to 256GB via microSD slot. Its connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, USB Type-C, Bluetooth v5.0, 4G VoLTE, and an audio jack.
There is a 4,000 mAh battery under the hood with support for 18W charging and QC 3.0.
Pocophone F1 Armoured Edition: Price
The Pocophone F1 Armoured Edition is priced at Rs. 23,999 for the variant with 6GB of RAM/128GB of internal storage while the top-end Armoured Edition Poco F1 with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage came at a price of Rs. 29,999.
Poco India’s official Twitter account officially announced on Tuesday that the upcoming Pocophone F1 Armoured Edition will be up for sale in the Indian market through Flipkart and Mi.com from 26 December.
