Vivo official teaser shows that the upcoming Vivo NEX 2 will feature a secondary display located at the back of the phones and a triple-camera setup.

According to Vivo official teaser of its new products – the NEX 2 – the smartphone will feature a secondary display located at the back of the phones and a triple-camera setup.

Instead of developing its previous idea of a retractable camera system, Vivo has made the decision to concentrate elsewhere, which could make the new NEX series of its smartphones brand to become the center spotlight of smartphones.

Recently, the company has revealed the official banner uncovering that NEX 2 phones will not be featuring the sliding camera setup as the original concept. Alternatively, Vivo opts to captivate its clients by featuring a secondary display, and a triple-camera system at the back of the phone. The dual display feature was briefly demonstrated by ZTE via its Nubia X product, with the second screen located at the rear of the phones.

Reports have shown that a secondary OLED-screen will be amongst the new features of the new NEX 2. The retractable camera system will be omitted because, with two screens, you can flip it and take their selfies or make their video call with the rear camera. Moreover, it is supposed that the phone has a “LED circle” cover around the triple camera setup, which is said to enhance the efficiency of the performance of the setup. There is a small chin it the device's bottom and no sensor featured in front of the phone.

Like the aforementioned, the teaser shows a triple camera setup on the back of the phones. It is Vivo commitment of following the market trend to enhance the camera setup by putting more sensors on its handsets. The phone is also likely to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8150 chipset with the internal storage of 128GB and 6GB of RAM.

The handset's price is yet to be declared, but it is likely to be higher than the initial price of the Vivo NEX. There are also rumors which hint that the smartphones will have 3D TOF (time-of-flight).
