We have not heard anything regarding Sony’s upcoming smartphone after the Xperia 1 and Xperia 10 were released at MWC 2019. However, recent leaks claim that the company is preparing for the launch of Xperia 20, the successor of the Xperia 10, along with the Xperia 2.

The Sony Xperia 20 is believed to feature a 6-inch FHD+ display with no notch. Under the hood, it runs on a Snapdragon 710 SoC. In terms of storage, it might have 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM, coupled with 64 GB or 128 GB of inbuilt storage.

The dual camera setup is rumored to have 12 MP resolution. However, we are not sure the second one will be an ultra-wide angle or a telephoto sensor. The Xperia 10 has a 5MP depth sensor. On the other side, the selfie camera is believed to be identical to that of the Xperia 10.

Despite having a similar appearance, the Xperia 20 will definitely have a boost in specifications in comparison with the Xperia 10.

Some earlier leaks suggested that the phone would have a glass back panel and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor under the power button. Other specs include a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone socket.

Sony has not said anything official on the releasing date of the Xperia 20, but rumor has it that we may expect to see sometime this fall. However, the phone might not make it to India as Sony has ceased selling its smartphones in this market.
