Sony Xperia 20 Specs Leaked, Snapdragon 710 SoC & Dual 12MP Cameras Tipped

At the MWC event this year in Barcelona, Japanese giant Sony announced its latest handset called Xperia 10, Xperia 10 Plus, and Xperia 1. The brand hasn’t launched these phones in any market yet, and it is reportedly working on the Xperia 10’s successor. Recently, there were several high-resolution CAD-based renders and also a 360-degree video of the alleged Xperia 20 surfaced online. And now, a Japanese publication Sumahoinfo has just given us most of the specifications and features of the Xperia 20. According to the report, the handset will be launched in the mid-range segment with dual rear cameras and a Snapdragon 700 series chipset.

As per the report, the upcoming Xperia 20 might sport a 6.0-inch LCD panel with FHD+ resolution and an aspect ratio of 21:9. Powering the phone is said to be a Snapdragon 710 octa-core processor. It is expected to be available in two memory configurations and they are 4GB RAM / 64GB storage and 6GB RAM / 128GB storage. At the back, there will likely be a dual camera system, including 12MP sensors. Up front, it might sport a single selfie camera with unknown resolution. The handset is also reported to measure 9.8 mm. Finally, it is also suggested to be available SIM-free from several telecom operators including Softbank, au, and Docomo.

Previously leaked photos indicated that the upcoming phone will be equipped with a glass rear panel. Its fingerprint reader will be located under its power button on the right side. At the back, there might be a dual camera setup stacked horizontally. In addition, it is also shown in the photo to have a slim chin, an audio jack, and a USB-C port.

For now, the official launch date of the handset is under wraps. However, a report claims that it might be unveiled in Autumn or Winter this year. We will keep you updated as soon as we hear more about this Xperia 20.
