Sony Xperia 10 II Announced With Triple Rear Cameras & 6" OLED Panel

Apart from the flagship Xperia 1 II and Xperia Pro, Sony also announced a new mid-range smartphone called Sony Xperia 10 II, which is pronounced as Xperia Ten Mark Two, at the launch event.

Sony Xperia 10 II: Price in India & Availability

The Sony Xperia 10 II price is €370 (around Rs. 28,900) for the single variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB of storage. It is available in either White or Black color variants.

The handset is confirmed to go on sale in the second quarter of this year.

On the front, the Xperia 10 II gets a 6.0-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 21:9 CinemaWide aspect ratio. The handset is powered by a Snapdragon 665 SoC alongside 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. In terms of camera, there are three cameras at the back of the phone, including a 12MP main sensor with PDAF, an 8MP ultra-wide-camera with 16mm focal length equivalent, and an 8MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. For selfies, it has a single 8MP shooter housed on the top bezel of the front panel.

The battery capacity of the Xperia 10 II is the highest among Sony’s mid-range smartphones - 3,600 mAh, 25 percent up from last year’s model. To prolong the phone’s battery life, Sony also equips it with Xperia Adaptive Charging that is said to adjust levels of power going through the battery cell.

Despite having a larger battery, the Sony Xperia 10 II is still slightly thinner compared to its predecessor. It is also IP65/68 rating certified for water and dust resistant as well as protected by Gorilla Glass 6 on both front and back.
