The Samsung Galaxy 5G has made its debut in Samsung's home market with earphones tuned by AKG, USB-C to USB-C cable, and 25W fast charging solution.

The South Korean smartphone maker, Samsung has finally unveiled its Galaxy S10 5G in its home market. Recently, various unboxing photos spotted on the social media revealed that the 5G model will feature 25W fast charging technology, and come with earphones tuned by AKG, and a USB Type-C to USB Type-C cable. The newly-released Galaxy S10 Plus, Galaxy S10, and Galaxy S10e are equipped with a 15W fast charging adapter and the USB Type-B to USB Type-C connector.

It is known that after its debut in South Korea, the 5G variant will be available in the US market next by the end of April and then various European markets. According to an earlier report, Samsung will also offer a wireless charger and Galaxy Buds to those registering their smartphones with Samsung in the period of 5 April – 16 April for free.

Along with equipping better fast charging solution, and the most advanced connectivity support, Samsung has also changed the device’s battery size, display size and camera module. Accordingly, the handset sports a 6.7-inch display with an unchanged aspect ratio of 19:9, which is larger than the one of 6.4 inches on the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus. Moreover, the phone will have an additional rear camera sensor. Another difference is that the 5G variant will pack with a 4,500mAh battery. The other specifications are likely to be the same, comprising of the biometric sensors, IP rating, and the chipset.

The Galaxy S10 with 5G support has a bit high price tag as one would expect from the first 5G smartphone in the world. The standard 256GB variant is priced at KRW1.39 million (roughly Rs. 84,400 or US$1,220), while the variant with 512GB internal storage costs KRW1.55 million (roughly Rs. 93,400 or US$1,350).
