In the last couple of weeks, we have learned that a new series called Galaxy M has under development by the Korean tech giant Samsung with three models called Galaxy M10, M20 and M30. According to a recent report, Samsung has already kicked off the production of the three M-series handsets in India. And now, there is new information about the upcoming Galaxy M20 surfacing online.
The alleged Samsung Galaxy M20’s case cover has just been leaked by courtesy of 91Mobiles, and it also reveals several other details of this handset. Firstly, the M20 is most likely feature a dual camera setup stacked vertically on the rear. There is also a cut-out for the LED flash as well as a traditional fingerprint sensor.
In another leak, the handset’s bottom panel has also been leaked confirming the existence of the audio jack as well as a USB-C port for data transfer and charging. As revealed by the last leaks, the front of this Samsung smartphone has an edge-to-edge, and water-drop notched display with a selfie camera in the notch and a prominent bottom chin.

As we also learned from the previous leaks that Samsung would most likely replace the existing Samsung Galaxy J, Galaxy C, and Galaxy On series with this new Samsung Galaxy M-series as part of the revised strategy of the Korean company. The price of this Galaxy M20 is likely to be under Rs. 15,000 and it is under Rs. 10,000 for the Galaxy M10’s.
All in all, Samsung seems to be trying a lot of different things to revitalize its stagnant mid-range sale figures, which is by no means a bad strategy. As long as its Galaxy M20 is priced aggressively enough, the water-drop style notch alone could prove it to be a strong contender.
Samsung has not confirmed the official release date or specifications of its handsets yet. However, given the fact that there have already been quite a lot of leaks, the release event may be pretty soon.
