According to a report, Samsung is already working on the Galaxy A91, a new offering from its A-series. Accordingly, the A91 may pack the Snapdragon 855 chipset from Qualcomm along with 45W Super Fast charging. In addition, it's possible that this smartphone will come out next year as an upgrade to the A90 5G. Therefore, official details about the A91 may not be revealed in the near future.
Specifications
As stated in the report from Samsung Mobile, the number model of the A91 model will be SM-A915F. Besides the Snapdragon 855 set of chips, the smartphone may also feature 8GB RAM, as well as 128GB internal memory. Additionally, rumors say that there will be a microSD card slot so users can expand the phone's storage to 512 GB.
In terms of display, the Galaxy A91 may have a full HD screen with Infinity-U design and a size of 6.7 inches. On the rear, the smartphone may have a triple-lens setup, including a 48MP main camera featuring OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation) just like A90 5G. Moreover, on the upgrade side, there may be a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera instead of an 8 MP sensor, which is available on the A90 5G. Plus, the phone is also said to include a 5MP depth sensor as well as a 32MP selfie lens on the front besides an f/2.2 lens.
Unlike the A90 5G model, the Galaxy A91 won't come with support for 5G networks. Some other options for connectivity on the new phone include USC-C port, Bluetooth v5.0, and Wi-Fi 802.11ac. Furthermore, the handset is said to house a 4,500mAh battery. Another upgraded feature is the 45W super-fast charging. But it's not clear if Samsung will include a compatible charger for that feature.
Based on an earlier report, the Galaxy A91 will get Android 10 although the newest leaks claim that the Indian version will run the Android 9 Pie. This phone was spotted on the website of Samsung. Initially, rumors said that it has a hole-punch screen design rather than the Infinity-U screen panel.
And if our prediction is right, Samsung will roll out the Galaxy A91 in India and other markets by year-end.
