Yesterday (April 10) in Thailand, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy A70 and Galaxy A80. While the Galaxy A70 has a decent design, the Galaxy A80 will impress the user through a unique 3-way rotating camera.
I have to say, the Galaxy A80 feels premium with a futuristic design thanks to the New-Infinity display.
The screen doesn’t have any notch or punch hole (like on the Galaxy S10) with 6.7 inches in size and FHD+ resolution.
Moreover, this screen is also embedded with an in-display fingerprint sensor, which helps users secure and unlock the device extremely convenient compared to other security measures.

I had to say my first impression when I had the chance with the Galaxy A80 was that it is a quite boring phone. At the back, Samsung goes for a very simple design, leaving only a Samsung logo and a triple rear camera.
The rear panel is slightly curved at four sides making it easy to handle and is divided into two parts by a small array below the camera cluster.
This camera cluster consists of a 48 MP main sensor, 8 MP ultra-wide angle sensor (123 degrees), 3D ToF depth sensor. Thus, Galaxy A80 will be one of the non-flagship Galaxy S and Note smartphones that comes with specialized sensors to perform tasks related to 3D photos, VR - AR or bokeh mode.

In addition, thanks to the ability to rotate the Galaxy A80 can take advantage of this cluster of 3 cameras for selfie photography. The camera cluster will rotate when you activate the front camera on the camera app or when video calling.
Thus, excellent selfies are expected from the Galaxy A80 besides many other features such as wide-angle shooting, bokeh mode, personalized Emoji AR, ...

Let's move to the internal specifications of the handset.

Reportedly, the Galaxy A80 uses the Snapdragon 730G SoC that specializes in gaming (the name G in the name of the chip stands for Game) which Qualcomm has just released. The processor comes with a clocked Adreno 618 GPU that has 15 percent higher performance compared to normal.

Finally, Galaxy A80 is also equipped with 8 GB RAM, 128 GB storage memory, 3,700 mAh battery support 25W fast charging.
The Senior VC and Chief Marketing Officer at Samsung, Ranjivjit Singh just confirmed via IANS that the Galaxy A70 will come to India in the upcoming week and it will be launched at the price of around Rs. 25,000 to 30,000. Meanwhile, the company decides to launch the Galaxy A80 sometime in May at the Rs. 45,000 to 50,000 price bracket.
