According to a new report cited in 91mobiles, Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy A30s with an Infinity-V display and a triple camera setup at the back. The phone is tipped to be a slightly upgraded model of the Galaxy A30, which is equipped with an Infinity-U display and dual cameras on the rear. While the two will be similar in most aspects, the additional camera will likely increase the camera performance of the Galaxy A30s over its sibling A30. Moreover, rumor has it that the company has already started the mass production of the Galaxy A30s in India. And that means the phone might be coming soon. It was also spotted on benchmarking platform Geekbench recently.

According to the Geekbench listing, the handset might carry SM-A307FN model number. It is listed to be powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.59 GHz, but the exact identity of the chipset is still under wraps. Moreover, it may come with 3GB of RAM and ship with the brand’s OneUI at launch that is based on Android 9 Pie.
Moving to the camera department, the slightly upgraded model of the Galaxy A30 is tipped to feature a triple camera setup at the back, which is one camera more compared to the Galaxy A30. While the details of the setup are still unknown, we expect them to be either the same or slightly better than the A30.

To recall, the Galaxy A30 is equipped with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution and a layer of Gorilla Glass 3. It is driven by an Exynos 7904 SoC, accompanied by up to 4GB RAM + 64GB of storage, which is user expandable using a microSD card slot.
On the imaging front, it features dual cameras which are a 16MP primary sensor and a 5MP depth sensor, while it comes with a 16MP camera on the front with an f/2.0 lens for taking selfies and video chats. Software-wise, it boots Android 9 Pie with OneUI on top. Finally, it is packed with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 4,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging solution.
