In the last few months, Samsung has been releasing several budget-friendly phones with more durable batteries with capacities ranging from 5,000mAh to 6,000mAh.
The bigger sizes mean two-day use is possible, of course, depending on the specs of the phones and your activities.
According to 91mobiles, Samsung hasn’t satisfied with the battery life yet and planning to increase the size of the power cell to 7,000mAh on some budget phones.
This size is even bigger than those powering the company’s tablets, including Galaxy Tab A 8.4 and Galaxy Tab Active 3.
A 7,000mAh battery can power a phone for up to three days, ideal for people who have to spend a lot of time away from a power back or a charger.
91mobiles also shows pictures which it claims are of the devices’ cases. They bear the numbers SM-M127F/ SM-F127G and evidence of a quad-camera setup.
It’s worth pointing out that there isn’t space for a fingerprint scanner so it might be embedded in the phones’ power button.
Rumor has it that the phone might be named Samsung Galaxy F12 or Galaxy M12. If that’s the case, the 7,000mAh phone might be the successor of the M11 launched earlier this year.
The M11 runs on a Snapdragon 450 chipset and a triple-camera setup consisting of a 13MP primary camera, a 5MP ultra-wide snapper, and a 2MP depth camera. The phone draws power from a 5,000mAh battery. So if we are looking at a successor, expect to see some significant upgrades.
If it belongs to the F series, the new phone will join the F41 launched in India last month or be a rebranded version of the Galaxy M31.
