Xiaomi released the Redmi Note 8 lineup in China back in August. The series, including Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro, later arrived in India in October. The Note 8 Pro originally came in three memory configurations. The 6GB RAM + 64GB storage model is priced at Rs. 14,999 while the option with 128GB storage is priced at Rs. 15,999. The top-end variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage costs Rs. 17,999.

Earlier this month, the brand announced that the series reached 10 million sales in just three months after launch. However, it seems like the brand wants to boost its sales even more as a new variant of the Redmi Note 8 Pro popping up on the TENAA database. This new variant also packs 4GB of RAM and probably 64GB of storage.
Redmi Note 8 Pro: Features & Specifications

On the front, the Redmi Note 8 Pro sports a 6.53” IPS LCD display with Full-HD+ resolution. There is a dewdrop notch at the top of the screen, housing a selfie camera. Under the hood, it gets power from a MediaTek G90T SoC, paired with 6/8GB of RAM and 64/128GB of storage. As mentioned, there will be a 4GB RAM model available soon. Keeping the lights of the phone on is a beefy 4,500 mAh battery with support for the 18W fast charging solution.

In terms of camera, it gets a 20MP camera on the front for selfies, which is placed in the water-drop notch. Around the back, there are four cameras, one of which is a 64MP main sensor. Other units on the setup are 2MP macro camera, 2MP depth-sensing camera, and an 8MP ultra-wide unit. Below the camera module, there is a fingerprint reader sensor for biometric security.
