Redmi Note 7 With 48MP Camera, Snapdragon 660 Launched: Specs & Price

Redmi, Xiaomi's sub-brand, unveiled the Redmi Note 7 with a 48MP sensor, Snapdragon 660 SoC and 4,000mAh battery in the Chinese market.

Redmi Note 7 is one of the most anticipated phone of Redmi - Xiaomi’s sub-brand, and it was unveiled in the Chinese market on Thursday. It comes packed with some impressive specs and features at an aggressive price, including a Snapdragon 660 SoC and a 48MP rear sensor. The hand also sports a water-drop notch and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 4,000 mAh battery. Furthermore, the handset sports a 6.3-inch Full-HD+ display and 2.5D glass protection on both sides. The Redmi Note 7 is also the first phone to launch after Redmi is an independent brand.

Redmi Note 7: Price & Availability
The Redmi Note 7 is released at a price of RMB 999 (around Rs. 10,500) for the variant with 3GB of RAM/32GB storage. The other two variant with 4GB of RAM/64GB of storage and 6GB of RAM/64GB of storage are priced at RMB 1,199 (Rs. 12,400) and RMB 1,399 (Rs. 14,500), respectively.

It will be up for sale from 15 January and will come in three color options, including Fantasy Blue, Bright Black, and Twilight Gold. Redmi hasn’t confirmed launching the handset outside China. However, we speculate that the handset will come to the Indian market in the upcoming weeks with similar price tags in China.
Redmi Note 7: Specs
The Redmi Note 7 comes packed with a 6.3-inch FHD+ IPS LTPS LCD with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9, 2.5D curved glass protection and Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The handset has a Snapdragon 660 SoC with Adreno 512 GPU, 3/4/6GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of expandable storage up to 256GB via microSD slot.

In the camera department, the phone features a dual camera system on the rear, including a 48MP Samsung GM1 sensor with an aperture of f/1.8 and a 5MP depth sensor. The camera setup comes with a monochrome Dual-LED flash, PDAF and AI-powered features such as HDR, background blur, portrait mode, night scene mode, EIS and more. On the front, it comes with a 13MP sensor with Face Unlock, Beauty features, HDR, background blur, AI single shot blur.
The phone is powered by a 4,000 mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 4.0.
