The Redmi K30 5G has been confirmed by Xiaomi to be available for sale on 7 January. The handset arrived as the first phone in the world to come with the new Snapdragon 765G chipset.
The device was announced come in four memory configurations - 6GB RAM / 64GB storage, 6GB RAM / 128GB storage, 8GB RAM / 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM / 256GB storage. Shortly after its official launch, the phone passed through TENAA, and the listing showed that Xiaomi will announce one more variant, which packs 12GB of RAM and 512GB storage. Now, it seems the brand will increase the number of options to six as a new listing of the phone is spotted on TENAA, which shows a new model with 10GB RAM.
The model number M2001G7AC listed on the new TENAA listing is slightly different from the model number M2001G7AE on the first listing. The specs sheet show three RAM models - 6GB RAM, 8GB RAM, and 10GB RAM while the storage models are 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. It means the 10GB RAM variant should pack 256GB storage.
We have no idea when the 10GB RAM model will be announced and whether it will be released alongside the 12GB of RAM option or not. Either way, we are happy that the brand offers multiple variants for users with different needs to choose from.
