After landing in India, the Chinese former Oppo sub-brand, Realme, intends to release its new smartphone Realme U1 on November 28 for the Indian market. This U1 smartphone will be the first smartphone by any company to pack a new hardware and a latest MediaTek's processor.
Madhav Sheth, CEO, Realme India, has informed this in the IMC 2018. The latest octa-core processor of MediaTek, the Helio P70 is a powerful chipset. This SoC comes with a new GPU, which will obtain 13% better performance than older processor Helio P60.
The octa-core Helio P70 chipset is built on the 12nm FinFET process and a multi-core APU with the 525MHz clock. This Helio P70 processor leads to a faster connectivity and better camera features, besides that, it is also power efficient at the same time.
The Realme U1 comes with a single 32-megapixel camera sensor resolution and the 24-megapixel + 16-megapixel dual camera resolutions.
U1's Helio P70 scores were posted on the Geekbench site a few days before the announcement of Realme company. This site informed that the smartphone is a 4GB RAM device. Some predicted that might be the Realme U1 smartphone.
The front side of U1 is predicted to have the same feature as the Realme 2 Pro with the waterdrop-like notch, and its touchscreen display likely also has the same resolution. The Realme U1 smartphone is likely to stay the same to the Realme 2 Pro in terms of design.
Realme planned to launch its selfie-centric Realme U1 smartphone on 28th November this year., at 12.30PM.
Realme informed that its U1 will be an exclusive product on Amazon India platform at the expected price between Rs 13,000 and Rs 15,000.
Realme does not disclose any information about its U1's specifications but it is likely a direct rival of the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro.
