Realme Q Series With Quad Rear Cameras Confirmed To Launch on 5 September

Oppo’s former sub-brand Realme has already been teasing a new phone series in its home market for a while. Recently, the company shared a promotional render of a smartphone, revealing its design at the back and confirmed that the handset would be powered by a Snapdragon chipset. It is also said to come with a quad-camera setup at the back with a 64MP main sensor. Now, the brand just put an end to speculations and leaks and officially confirmed that the upcoming series could be called Realme Q. It is going to make its debut in China on 5 September.

Separately, the Realme 5 Pro that launched earlier in the month in India, just passed through TENAA wih a quad camera setup. Therefore, there is a good chance that the upcoming Realme Q series might include a rebranded model of the Realme 5 Pro. After Realme China’s CMO Xu Qi Chase shared a render of the 64MP camera smartphone, the company showcased the Realme XT ahead of its Indian launch at an event in China. The XT is slated to make its debut in September. The company also mentioned that there would be more information about the upcoming Realme Q series in the next couple of days, so stay tuned.

As for the specifications, the Realme 64MP sensor smartphone is tipped to feature a Snapdragon 712 chipset. On the front, there might be a 6.4-inch AMOLED panel with an on-screen fingerprint reader. It will likely boot Android 9 Pie which is based on ColorOS 6 atop. The phone will also feature a gradient finish and reflective patterns, which is called Silver Wing White color. Since its launch is getting close, we will not have to wait too long for more details.
