Realme Q has been announced in the company’s home market, China. The handset is announced as a rebranded model of the Realme 5 Pro that already made its debut in India last month. It comes with a quad-camera system at the back with a 48MP Sony IMX586 main sensor, a water-drop notched display, a large battery, and a Snapdragon 712 chipset. Aside from that, the device is also said to feature a waterproof design, but it is not IP certified. In addition, the Realme Q also comes with a much more aggressive price compared to the recently-announced Realme 5 Pro.

With that price tag, the Realme Q is roughly Rs. 4,000 cheaper than its sibling Realme 5 Pro with similar specifications. The price goes up to CNY 1,198 (around Rs. 12,100) for the 6GB of RAM / 64GB of storage variant. The best option you can get with the Realme Q is the 8GB of RAM / 128GB of storage model for a price of CNY 1,498 (around Rs. 15,200).

It will be available for sale in Drill Blue and Diamond Green from 9 September.
