New Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro 15.6 (2019) Unveiled With Price From Rs. 44,500

After introducing the updated Mi Notebook Air 2019 (12.5 inches) at the beginning of last week, Xiaomi has also unveiled its new Mi Notebook Pro 15.6 (2019). The device has a roughly Rs. 44,500 price tag.

As for the specs, the new device sports a display with 1080p Full HD resolution with a nearly bezel-less design. And under the hood, the device is powered by Intel’s 8th-generation Core i5 processor, which is paired with DDR4 2400MHz with expandable capacities of 32GB via dual memory slot. Regarding the storage support, the device is available in two options including 256GB SSD and 512GB SSD options. There is also another variant with 12GB RAM and 1TB SSD but its release date and price have not been revealed yet.

The new device has the minimalist design like its predecessor and a front logo. Additionally, it has a finish of dark grey on a body made of metal. And the device measures 19.0mm in thickness. It is also equipped with heat pipes along with a dual-fan cooling system for incredible temperature management.  Also, it comes with dual 3W high power cavity speakers.

In terms of ports, the Mi Notebook Pro (2019) has a USB 2.0, two USB 3.0, HDMI interface, Gigabit Ethernet port, 3-in-1 reader, and an audio jack. Compared to its predecessor – the Mi Notebook Pro 2018, the device mainly comes with marginal improvement, alongside processor upgrade. Moreover, the same goes for the Mi Notebook Air 2019.

As for the pricing, the 8GB RAM + 256GB variant is priced at CNY4,299 (Rs. 44,550 roughly). The 512GB storage variant costs CNY4,899 (Rs. 50,550 roughly). It is expected that the device will be available for sales from 9 April on JD.cm and Xiaomi Mall. The availability and launch date of the device in India hasn't been revealed yet.
