Recently, a Motorola phone was seen in a series of renders with a quad-camera setup and a Motorola logo placed in a rectangle module. The handset was tipped to be the Motorola One Pro. However, according to the latest leak, the phone will actually launch under the Motorola One Zoom moniker.

In its quad-camera setup, there will be a 48MP Quad Bayer sensor. Meanwhile, the phone’s display will have a water-drop notch instead of a punch hole like we have seen on the Motorola One Vision and the upcoming Motorola One Action.
The writing under the rear LED flash says that the 48MP sensor will have a pixel size of 1.6µm, but Motorola is actually referring to the pixel size in binned 12-megapixel mode. Two such sensors that are highly available at the moment are the Samsung Bright GM and Sony IMX586 sensors. We can also see dual OIS, and that means the secondary snapper will be a telephoto sensor as it is the one to get benefited from stabilization.

On the front, it seems like the Moto One Zoom’s display has a shorter aspect ratio compared to other recent phones in the Moto One series. To be more specific, the display will have an aspect ratio of 19.5:9, instead of the 21:9 aspect ratio.
At the back, the fingerprint scanner is nowhere to be seen, which hints that Motorola will go for an on-screen fingerprint reader instead. However, that might boost its price a little bit higher than its sibling. Moreover, if it indeed comes with such fingerprint scanner, the display will likely be an OLED panel.
The leaked renders also show that the power button and volume rocker are placed on the right side, while the USB-C port and headphone jack are seen at the bottom of the phone.
The Motorola One Zoom is expected to be announced at the IFA 2019 event in the 1st week of next month for €429 (around Rs. 34,100).
