Some alleged images of the upcoming Meizu 16s and Meizu 16s Plus have just surfaced online. Previously, Meizu CEO teased that these two handsets would not come with either punch holes, notches or anything like that, which he called “quad bezel-less display”.

It can clearly be seen from the photos that the Meizu 16s has pretty thin bezels with both top and bottom chins being thinner compared to the last year’s Meizu 16, according to the previous official teasers from Meizu. Despite having such thin bezels, Meizu still manages to pack a selfie camera on the top front of the phone. However, the leaked photos only show the front of the device only so we can’t see what the phone has on the back side.
Meizu 16s & 16s Plus: Specifications

The Meizu 16s is said to sport a 6.2-inch display while the Plus version will ship with a massive 6.76-inch display which is 0.26 inch larger than that of its predecessor. Both of the displays will be an AMOLED panel with a 1080p+ resolution, protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 6. As mentioned, its chin is around 1.5mm thinner compared to the last year’s Meizu 16.

The Meizu 16s duo will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 855 SoC with a 48MP Sony IMX 586 sensor on the rear with support for OIS. For the battery, the Meizu 16s will be backed by a decent 3,600mAh cell without wireless charging capability.
Comments from Meizu CEO hint that these two Meizu phones will likely come out in either April or May and it will be priced at over RMB 3,300 (around Rs. 35,200) which is pretty similar to the pricing that Xiaomi applies on its recent Xiaomi Mi 9. Moreover, Meizu is rumored to launch another model under the name Meizu 16T (T stands for “Turbo”), which will most likely aim for gamers.
