There are only two days left until Apple announces the next iPhone series. The event will take place on 10 September in Cupertino. The brand is said to be going to face some challenges in making users excited. Most of the upgrades we have known so far are modest changes and they sound like must-haves to us. Moreover, the exciting rumors are the ones about the forthcoming devices, but they are not the iPhone 11. Instead, they are the 5G iPhone, the iPhone with a laser-guided 3D ToF camera, in-display fingerprint reader, and the foldable iPhone. They are all expected to be announced in 2020 or later.
According to many sources ranging from reliable sources like Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo and Bloomberg to leaksters and tipsters on Twitter, the iPhone 2019 (or iPhone 11) will share a lot of similarities with its predecessor. Of course, they will not be identical to each other, but they should be pretty similar.
Therefore, don’t expect too much on the upcoming event, if you don’t want to get disappointed. However, Apple will still try to get its users excited about many incremental upgrades: more powerful chipset, better cameras, iOS 13, and possibly new color variants like Dark Green. As for the price, Apple is expected to apply the same pricing of the iPhone XS to this new iPhone series. That means the iPhone 11 might come with a starting price of roughly $1,000 (around Rs. 71,700).
Still, it would be a big mistake to count out Apple. The brand might have something up their sleeves and surprise us at the event. As the iPhone 11 launch event is getting so close, we decided to collect the most interesting and credible rumours about the upcoming devices.
Apple to host a launch event on 10 September
Apple officially confirmed to host a launch event on Tuesday, 10 September at 10 a.m Pacific Time (10:30 p.m IST) at the Steve Jobs Theater (located in Cupertino, California). Unlike previous events, Apple will also live stream the event on Youtube as well. With the 10 September launch, Apple might start offering the handsets from 20 September. However, there is also a good chance that the brand might ship one or more phones at a later date. To recall, the company announced three iPhone models on 13 Septembe. It released the first two phones, iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, on 21 September with the iPhone XR going on sale over a month later, on 26 October.
iPhone 11 to feature a triple camera setup
Camera setup should be the biggest change coming to the upcoming iPhone series. We have already heard quite a lot of rumors about Apple giving at least one of the iPhone 11 models a triple camera setup. Way back in January, Ice Universe and OnLeaks shared several renders showing a prototype with a triple camera setup and an LED flash housed in a square camera module. Until now, we have seen many renders that we strongly believe it will be indeed the camera setup Apple is going for in its upcoming iPhone. Moreover, Apple’s rival Google is also said to apple the same design on the Pixel 4.
iPhone 11 to come with iOS 13
It is most likely that the iPhone 11 will come with the next-generation iOS 13 out of the box. The new iOS version is currently in beta, and it is slated to be announced at the same event on 10 September. Moreover, an iPhone model was recently spotted on Geekbench with iOS 13 and A13 chipset.
