Huawei Nova 5 Pro Memory & Color Variants Revealed Ahead Of Launch

The upcoming Huawei Nova 5 Pro will be available in four color options including Green, Purple, Orange and Black and two memory variants.

Huawei Technologies has announced that the company will introduce its new Nova 5 lineup smartphones in the Chinese market on 21 June. The series will comprise of the budget Nova 5i, the base Nova 5, and the top Nova 5 Pro. Ahead of the official release in China, let’s take a look at press renders and some other details of the Nova 5 Pro.

Huawei Nova 5 Pro Renders and Specifications

According to the latest renders, the Huawei Nova 5 Pro will come in 4 color variants including Black, Orange, Purple, and Green. While the Nova 5/Nova 5 Pro was said to sport the same hold-punch screen like that of the Nova 5i, the new renders confirm that the premium phone will have a dewdrop notch at the display’s top. Additionally, the phone also features with a quad rear camera setup. According to the renders, the device doesn’t have fingerprint sensor on the back, which suggest that it will come with an on-screen scanner.

Regarding the specs, the upcoming handset will come in 2 memory variants in the Chinese market including 8GB of RAM + 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM + 256GB of storage. Additionally, the phone will be powered by an octa-core Kirin 980 SoC produced in the 7nm process. Other key specs of the phone remain unknown at present. We can hope that some more information will surface online ahead of the official launch.

Besides, TENNA certification agency of China revealed most of the key specs of the Nova 5i. As per TENAA listing, the upcoming phone will sport a 6.4-inch Full HD+ IPS screen with a hold-punch cut-out on the left corner of the top. Under the hood, it will come with an octa-core Kirin 710 SoC produced in the 12nm process, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage. On the back, the phone features a quad rear camera setup including a 24MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra wide sensor, a 2MP depth sensor and a ToF (Time-of-Flight) sensor. On the front, the device comes with a 24MP camera with AI support for taking selfies. Additionally, the phone will be backed with a 3,900mAH battery. In terms of software, all 3 smartphones in the Nova 5 lineup can run EMUI 9.0 based on Android 9.0 Pie.
