The Galaxy A30s and Galaxy A50s have already been in the rumor mill for a few months. And now, Samsung finally unveils the two in its home market, South Korea. They are the direct successors to the Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 that launched earlier in the year. Their highlights include triple rear camera setup, octa-core processor, on-screen fingerprint reader, and 4,000 mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging solution. Sadly, the brand hasn’t revealed their pricing yet.

Samsung Galaxy A30s & Galaxy A50s: Specifications
Let’s start with the Galaxy A30s. It is equipped with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED panel with HD+ resolution. It is powered by an octa-core processor (six cores at 1.6 GHz and two cores at 1.8 GHz). Users get to choose between 3GB RAM or 4GB RAM models. As for the internal storage, it will be available in 32/64/128GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 512GB via a microSD card slot.

In terms of camera, there is a triple camera setup at the back of the phone, including a 25MP main sensor with f/1.7 lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 5MP depth sensor. On the front, it comes with a 16MP shooter with f/2.0 lens for selfies. Powering the phone is a 4,000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging tech support. Security-wise, users can unlock the phone with an on-screen fingerprint scanner. There are four color variants for users to choose - Prism Crush Violet, Prism Crush Green, Prism Crush White, and Prism Crush Black.
Moving to the Galaxy A50s, it sports the same 6.4-inch Super AMOLED panel. However, its panel features FHD+ (2,340 x 1,080p) resolution instead. There is also an on-screen fingerprint reader on the A50s, just like its sibling A30s. It is driven by an octa-core processor (four 1.7 GHz cores and four 2.3 GHz cores), paired with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of storage, which is expandable up to 512GB via a microSD card slot.

At the rear, it is also packed with a triple camera system, comprising of a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 5MP depth-sensing unit. On the front, it features a 32MP shooter with an f/2.0 lens to take care of selfies and video chats. Color variants of the Galaxy A50s are the same as the Galaxy A30s.
