While the Galaxy S10 Ultra has replaced the Galaxy Note 10 Plus to be Samsung’s latest flagship smartphone, the latter is still a sought-after model for its usefulness for businesses. What we are talking about here is the stylus or the smartpen.
The Galaxy Note 10 Plus’s success has led to the launch of a knock-off version, the first we have seen so far. The imitators are on sale on Aliexpress, a popular Chinese website under the name Kimtien Note 10 Plus.
The knock-offs bear a striking resemblance to Samsung’s flagships, from the name to the color scheme. However, at a way cheaper price, do not expect an imitator to perform as exceptionally as a real Samsung’s device.
For a price of around Rs. 11,845, one-fifth of the real thing, it might appeal to a lot of people.
Under the hood the knock-off Galaxy Note 10 Plus runs on Mediatek’s 10-core CPU, RAM of 8GB, and onboard storage of 128GB. The phone draws power from a 4800mAh battery.
Other features include a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 4.0, a 6.8-inch display, a 23MP camera on the rear, and a 13MP snapper on the front. The spec sheet also reveals that the Kimtien Note 10 Plus is powered by Android 9.1 and supports dual SIM. The best feature of the Note 10 Plus, the stylus, is also present.
The fact that tens of thousands of units are available for purchase shows that whoever behind this has a well-run operation.
Samsung might hold a case against some manufacturers for the striking resemblances of knock-offs to its Galaxy Note 10 Plus.
