Budget Smartphone Moto E6 Plus Unveiled With 6.1" Display & Helio P22 SoC

The Moto E6 Plus was unveiled alongside the Motorola One Zoom at IFA 2019 as an affordable offering from the brand with dual cameras, Helio P22, and more.

Alongside the Motorola One Zoom, Motorola also announced the Moto E6 Plus ending months of rumors and leaks. The brand announced the duo in IFA 2019 in Germany. While the Motorola One Zoom was announced as the company’s first phone with quad rear cameras, the Moto E6 Plus made its appearance as an affordable smartphone with a glass sandwich design, P2i water-repellent nano-coating, and MaxVision display. Both phones feature a water-drop notched display and boots Android 9.0 Pie at launch.

Moto E6 Plus: Price

The Moto E6 Plus is retailed at €139 (around Rs. 11,100) for the four colour variants - Rich Cranberry, Polished Graphite, Bright Cherry, and Caribbean Blue. It already goes on sale in Latin America and is slated to be available for grabs in Europe later in the month.

The Indian branch of the company has already been teasing the launch of the phone on its Twitter account. In the latest tweet, Motorola India teased a new phone with an unbeatable price’. In the meantime, Flipkart also started teasing the device on its mobile app.

Moto E6 Plus: Specifications

The Moto E6 Plus comes with a 6.1-inch IPS MaxVision panel with HD+ resolution. There is an Helio P22 SoC ticking at its core along with 2GB RAM and 32/64GB of internal storage (expandable up to 512GB). Software-wise, it ships with Android 9.0 Pie at launch to take care of the software side of things. Fueling the entire setup is a 3,000 mAh battery.

On the imaging front, it is equipped with a dual camera setup, that includes a 13MP main sensor with an f/2.0 lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it has an 8MP snapper for taking selfies and video chats.
