Twitch, the most popular game streaming platform in the world, will thankfully team up with a non-gaming platform called Duolingo. Without the need for canned videos in learning new languages, this association is expected to help users learn them through online streams on Twitch.

While most of us have known Twitch but just a few have heard about Duolingo. Put briefly, it’s a well-known platform that makes a lot of people around the globe learn a new language themselves in an easy way. Thanks to this plan, both broadcasters and users can benefit from the Duolingo Verified Program.
Put briefly, they haven’t built any straightforward educational channels, at least not yet. However, it could bring us more motivations, in comparison with traditional lessons. With a number of different ways to teach new languages, broadcasters can either use lessons from Duolingo in their streams or promoting the use of another language in various fields such as travel, cooking or other particular situations in the real world. In the meantime, audiences will also be encouraged to practice their linguistic skills by making conversations in the chatbox.

Streamers engaged in this new program will be featured on the official channel of Duolingo on Twitch and language-specific sub-channels as well. As part of this, they will get branded badges on their accounts. The current program includes 12 participants with not only a good command of English but also high fluency in one or more other languages. Some qualified game streamers that should be noted are TaikiGG, Kitty, and Kairi.
At the initial stage, the program focuses on some “core” languages in the world, including English, Chinese, Spanish, French, and Arabic. The number of streamers and new languages is expected to increase in the near future.
