Recently at an annual event, Twitch has introduced some enthusiastic improvements for viewers and streamers. Notably, one of which is solving a long-lived question of who to watch. Other improvements on channel pages that serve potential followers are a channel trailer with a Youtube style, schedules for streaming and increasing overall details. Seeing that lots of streamers are dependent on handmade schedules that can be easily missed, or other ineffective add-ons, these improvements can be useful for those who need clarifications in the time for online broadcasters. It is not until late 2019 that we can fully see the new and fresher look on Twitch.

If you are a loyal user of Twitch and already have an iPhone/iPad, you can subscribe to a streamer through iOS devices, starting from October. Instead of having to purchase the subscription directly, users will buy tokens that can be redeemed for Tier 1 subscriptions during a year only. For Apple users, they will be offered a premium as a 30% compensation for in-app purchases. Tier 2 and 3 subscriptions will not be available, therefore, users through the website may receive Twitch's additional support.

In the upcoming weeks, the ads will be changed so that game streams will be represented in picture-in-picture format during the ad time. Hence, you won't miss your favorite online streamings if you're watching them not on their showing time. Streamers now also have options to shutdown pre-roll ads as they want. In addition, Twitch also adjusted the number of ads accordingly to not make you feel uncomfortable, as well as allowing Affiliates to make money instead of waiting for their Partners' status. Finally, the ads will be shown to assist a channel, rather than being shown on basic accounts.

In the next January, Twitch will deploy its "channel points" feature, which is still under the testing process. This feature will integrate rewards for users by giving them benefits, like unlocking emo-icons or highlighting their messages.
Some of the remaining changes are exclusively for streamers. In November, Twitch will officially release its broadcasting app named Twitch Studio. In addition, the revised app named Creator Dashboard will provide access to tips and quick actions for newcomers. The moderators in early 2020 will receive a new chat mode that can be customizable so that they can quickly prevent any violation.
